Our Location

Barbara Hall Park is just around the corner, featuring a moving AIDS memorial, plenty of park seating and paved walkways. Both Queen’s Park and the energeticYonge-Dundas Square are nice 15-minute walks from our hotel. We are also within comfortable walking distance to the Yorkville neighbourhood, with endless shopping and eateries at Bloor and Yonge Streets, along with the Toronto Public Library and the incredible Panasonic Theatre. This community is LGBTQ-friendly and home to the city’s annual PRIDE celebrations. Transportation throughout downtown Toronto is easily accessible via bus, streetcar and subway, with a subway station just across the street.

Dining Out

There are so many great restaurants within walking distance to our hotel – just pick a direction from our front door and follow your nose! Ask our front desk staff about specific restaurant recommendations, but as a start, we recommend The Keg Mansion for a fine-dining take on surf and turf. About a five-minute walk from Wellesley Manor, the Keg Mansion is located within the historic Euclid Hall.


Welcome to Canada’s retail hot spot, with all the major luxury departments stores and small boutique shops you could dream of. We suggest checking out the Eaton Centre in the Garden District south of our hotel, where you’ll find endless shopping opportunities in a gorgeous indoor mall. We also recommend heading a few minutes north to the corner of Bloor and Yonge Streets, where you’ll find the Hudson Bay Centre as well as Holt Renfrew.

Toronto Air Canada Centre

Air Canada Centre is the city’s biggest and best sports and entertainment stadium, home to the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, the NBA’s Toronto Raptors, the Toronto Rock lacrosse team and an incredible slate of musical acts, festivals, tradeshows, and more. Queen’s Park

One of Canada’s oldest urban parks and home to the Ontario Legislative Building, the gorgeous Queen’s Park is an oval-shaped oasis in the middle of the city. Featuring plenty of footpaths and large sheltering trees, the park’s north section also holds the “saluting station” for the province, with gun salutes taking place at special events and important national holidays throughout the year.
